Cameron Allen is a multi-award winning guitarist/composer based in Atlanta, GA. He began his musical journey early in life, receiving his first electric guitar for his sixth birthday and playing his first gig at age 10. He spent his formative years composing, playing, and recording original music, while honing his performance skills through regular live performances as a youngster.

He went on to attend the Atlanta Institute of Music, where he received the Merit Scholarship and graduated with honors in 2010.

In 2012, he garnered attention with the release of his album, Between The Lines, showcasing his compositional skills and technical prowess alike.

Later that year, Cameron won first place in the international Next BendNote Talent Competition for guitarists by performing his original composition, “Jackknife on a Hairpin”, in front of a live panel of judges in Paris, France!

Since then, Cameron has toured numerous times in Europe, Canada, and the United States with the Sixxis, supporting such acts as the Winery Dogs (Mike Portnoy, Billy Sheehan, Richie Kotzen), Spock’s Beard, Ministry, and Riverside.

In 2017 he added to his discography with the release of his album, Ex Nihilo.

From 2018-2025, he was a founding member of progressive metal band Eden Architect, releasing a studio album, Form and Function, in 2024 before the group ultimately disbanded.

In 2026, Cameron released his latest single, "Sirens", as part of a larger rollout with more releases soon to follow.

Cameron is currently working on a new solo album, set to be released later this year. He has worked as a columnist for Guitar Interactive Magazine, and is a guitar performance instructor at the Atlanta Institute of Music. He remains in high demand as a performer, composer, session musician, and educator. He continues to put out high quality instructional content regularly, which can be found on the Tutorials & Courses page.

Going forward, he plans to continue releasing new music and expanding his presence through social media content, masterclasses, and live performances.
